Club Ice and Luna Rossa will not open for New Year's Eve after all; it will take another two weeks to sort out paperwork problems preventing the new facility from opening on time.
General manager Glenda Landry said obtaining the permits and licensing for this facility in time for New Year’s Eve was pretty much impossible during this time of year. “It really is nobody’s fault, it’s just that time of year. Offices are running with less staff right now.
“We’ve learned not to try to open between two major holidays of the year,” Landry said.
“Basically, it was little things, out of our control, preventing this opening,” Landry added.
“However, we do wish everyone a Happy New Year and we’ll see you in the New Year.”
Also, plans are still on at Ibiza and there will be no cover charge. The cover band called The Switch will be performing at 9 p.m. and will continue playing well into a New Year.
