Walk-in Clinics

December 11 Free walk-in clinics 2 to 4 p.m. every Thursday at Hutchin’s Pharmasave, Annapolis Royal. Blood pressure, glucose or cholesterol checked.

Christmas concert

December 11 MRHS Senior Band’s concert at 7:30 p.m. in the gym. Free will offering. Desserts available at intermission. Win a wreath.

Women’s connection

Cancer workshop

December 13 The monthly Look Good Feel Better workshop, helping women deal with the appearance related side-effects of cancer and its treatment, meet in the private dining room, Valley Reg. Hospital, 10 a.m. to 12 noon. To register for this free workshop, call 679-2657 ext 2835.

Christmas celebration

December 13 “Old Fashioned Christmas at the Station”, 61 School St., Middleton, 9:30 to 12. Enjoy music, fun, carol singing and refreshments. Music by Dobro Joe and Golden Valley Boys, guest soloist is Katrina Gillis.

Christmas Concert

December 14 Children’s Christmas Concert starts at 10:45 a.m. at the Middleton Baptist Church. Our children will be taking over the morning worship service to present their annual Christmas Concert.

Christmas Hymn Sing

December 14 Christmas Hymn Sing and Concert, December 14 at 2 p.m. at the Christian Fellowship Centre, corner of Dodge Road and Highway 1, Wilmot. The Sunday School will be providing special entertainment along with members of the church, all with the singing of favourite Christmas Carols. Refreshments to follow.

Parent’s Night Out

December 19 The Middleton Baptist Church is giving an opportunity for moms and dads to get some shopping done or to just for a night out, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Drop your children off. December 21 At the Middleton Baptist Church at 10:45 a.m. Entitled "Then Jesus Came", features special Christmas choral pieces from our choir interlaced with drama to communicate the Christmas message in a powerful and memorable way.

Nativity movie

December 21 The film follows the life of Mary and Joseph up to the birth of Jesus. It is a wonderful re-telling of the Christmas story and the Middleton Baptist Church invites you to come at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided afterward.

Luncheon

December 23 At the Anglican Church Hall, Middleton, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., for lobster chowder ($7), corn chowder ($6) or turkey vegetable soup ($6), plus dessert. Sponsored by the Holy Trinity Anglican Church. For deliveries in town, call 825-4758 before 9 a.m., or 825-2326 after 9 a.m. on the 23rd.
