There were 305 reports made to RCMP in Kings County during the past week.
Police assisted the SPCA Dec. 1 after a report of animal cruelty. It turned out to be unfounded.
Three youths were rounded up after 11 reports of thefts from unlocked vehicles in Aylesford and Auburn. A post box was also knocked over. A caller helped police locate the trio after calling at 2:45 a.m. Dec. 2.
A generator was stolen from a shed on Pineridge Ave. in Kingston.
A number of items were stolen from a home in Avonport, but the thieves were unable to remove a wall safe with a power saw.
The Quick Way in Centreville was broken into for the second time in a week. Two hooded men were caught on video stealing cigarettes.
Two 13-year-old girls were caught shoplifting at Zellers in New Minas and released to parents.
A BBQ and bike were stolen from outside a house on Aldershot Rd.
A 40-year female was caught shoplifting at Wal-mart in New Minas.
Two young adult drivers were caught for impaired driving near the RCMP detachment in Kingston.
A student was reported missing by a guidance teacher at a local high school. His parents had not noted his absence.
Two vehicles on Pleasant St. in Wolfville had tires slashed.
A 16-year-old driver Dec. 3 clipped a house on Prospect St. in New Minas after losing control of a vehicle at 12:29 p.m.
A 36-year-old women was caught shoplifting in Zellers and police determined she had two previous outstanding charges.
A fraudulent money order related to an internet site was reported.
Two cottages and a shed at an Aylesford cottage were broken into after thieves smashed windows. A CD player and four beers were taken.
A woman walking down Main St. in Wolfville was paint balled by an occupant of a dark sedan about 7:45 p.m.
A 60-year-old man in Kingston was arrested after being reported passed out on George St.
A vehicle in Canaan was broken into and a metal detector stolen Dec. 4.
A driver in Greenwood reported a vehicle parked at the mall had all four tires slashed.
A cottage in Baxter's Harbour was broken into.
A drunken 46-year-old man was arrested after he was reported as unwanted by a Maple St., Waterville resident. He then kicked out a window in a cruiser and spit at a police officer.
December 5, two reports of thefts from vehicles came in from Britney Ave. and a third from Maggie Dr. in Greenwood.
A rock was used to break the windshield of a vehicles in New Minas.
An 11- and 12-year-old were caught shoplifting at Zellers in New Minas and, later, two slightly older teens.
A thief grabbed a woman's purse while she was loading groceries into her car at the Superstore in Kingston. He sped off.
A 52-year-old man was reported for dangerous driving in Auburn. Police arrested him.
A landlord in Wolfville misinformed his tenants on Acadia St. about the town's noise bylaw, so they were given a warning.
A homeless man in Waterville spent two nights in warm churches due to police assistance with the Inn from the Cold program.
A report from Greenwich lead police to stop a driver in New Minas. The 40-year-old man got out of his vehicle without even placing it in park. He was arrested for a blood/ alcohol level over 200.
A drinking driver received a 24-hour suspension after being stopped in a checkpoint in Greenwich.
At 3:30 a.m. Dec. 6, a report of a noisy party was received from Bishopville, then a second report was received from Coldbrook.
Police in Wolfville are investigating a 47-year-old man who used a fraudulent credit card at a Wolfville store.
That evening a vehicle, which was stopped the previous evening because the driver was drinking a driving, was involved in a collision with a cyclist about 6:30 p.m. on Belcher St. in Port Williams. The 45-year-old female driver had readings of 260 and 270.
A 22-year-old Wolfville man was arrested for assaulting a woman.
A Greenwood resident reported a man who'd been drinking urinated on a vehicle about 9:38 p.m.
Several lotto tickets were stolen from a convenience store in Wolfville.
A purse was stolen out of vehicle on Gaspereau Ave. in Wolfville and a credit card used.
Two 18-year-old males were caught paintballing in Greenwood after three incidents occurred. The gun was seized about 1:10 a.m. Dec. 7.
At 1:43 a.m., four women were reported fistfighting at Legends' Lounge in Coldbrook. Two of them, in their 20s and from outside the area, were arrested.
There was a fight at Dooley's in Greenwood at 2 a.m.
Police were called back to Legends after a drunk caused a disturbance. He resisted arrest, attempted to kick out a cruiser window and got pepper sprayed. He spent the night in a cell.
At 6:14 a.m. a Woodland Dr., Wolfville resident reported a neighbour's rooster was cock-a-doodling too loud. Police determined the rooster's owner was having it moved.
Four summer tires were stolen out of a shed in Kingston.
Several tires were slashed in parking lot on Skyway Dr. in Wolfville.
A residence on Mee Rd. in North Kentville was broken into.
December 8, a Waterville business reported being broken into. Tools were taken.
An elderly female driver failed to pay for $7 worth of gas in Greenwood.
An ATV parked at a Foster St., Kingston property had its ignition ripped out.
An international student in Wolfville was sent home for possession of drugs.
There were four attempted suicides and 10 additional mental health calls. One sudden death of an elderly man occurred.
There were eight domestic incidents. One lead to charges against both the male and female involved.
There were collisions in Billtown, Weston, Waterville, Wolfville, Highway 101 near New Minas and a deer collided with a car on South Bishop Dr. in Coldbrook.
There were 17 false business alarms, six false residential alarms and 17 false 911 calls. One of the phony 911 calls was traced to a 12-year-old student in New Minas.
