There were 146 reports made to RCMP in Kings County between Nov. 27 and Dec. 1.

Following a rear-end collision in Canning Nov. 27, one driver was ticketed for not having a valid license.

A manhole cover was half off on Maple Ave. in Kingston.

An ATV was stolen from a locked shed on Black Duck Rd. in East Dalhousie.

A driver on Pleasant St. in Wolfville reported a hit and run collision without witnesses.

Several hundred dollars in Christmas gifts and a computer were stolen from a house on Apple Crest Dr. in North Kentville.

Police had to intervene to make a 19-year-old taxi patron in Wolfville pay a fare at 1:32 a.m.

Police on patrol in Wolfville arrested a staggering 23-year-old female for public intoxication on Harborside Dr.

Someone attempted to pry open a garage in Coldbrook, but did not gain entry overnight Nov. 28.

A Plymouth Neon had its ignition stripped overnight on Fundy Dr. in Wolfville.

A suspicious man wearing an elf hat was observed looking in cars parked at the Wal-Mart lot in New Minas.

A 23-year-old inebriated woman with a pet rabbit was arrested for public intoxication on a Kings Transit bus around 4 p.m.

Police were called about a fight at 5:27 p.m. near Old Dyke Rd. in New Minas.

A 61-year-old man was arrested after drinking and causing a disturbance on Sanford Rd. in North Kentville.

A 21-year-old man was arrested at 7:45 p.m. for trying to start a fight on Hillside Ave. in Wolfville. Once in his cell, he smeared excrement all over the walls.

An impaired driver was arrested after going through a stop sign and landing on a lawn on Highland Ave. in Wolfville about 11:32 p.m.

November 29, four roving young adults were tampering with a gas cap on a car parked on Prospect St. in Wolfville just after midnight.

There was a fight outside the Top Hat Lounge in Greenwood at 2:24 a.m.

A drunken man who had been hurt came into the Valley Regional Hospital emergency unit and proved abusive. Police arrested the 36-year-old and found he was wanted on a previous warrant.

A grandmother with a grandchild in tow phoned 911 at 2:15 p.m. when they couldn’t locate their vehicle in a New Minas mall parking lot.

Police arrested a 28-year-old female driver who went into the ditch in New Minas at 5:13 p.m.

A car/ pedestrian collision took place on University Ave. in Wolfville at 6:29 p.m.

A 46-year-old Bedford man was arrested for being drunk in Coldbrook early Nov. 30.

A 39-year-old drunken man was arrested after being kicked out of a liquor establishment on Harborside Dr. in Wolfville. After being placed in a cruiser around 1:15 a.m., he tried kicking out a window and now faces a mischief charge.

A couple at Dooley’s in Greenwood called police at 1:47 a.m. claiming a group of 10 women were trying to pick a fight.

Police are investigating a jewelry theft in a Coldbrook residence.

A number of tools were stolen from a building under construction on Brow Mt. Road near Centreville.

Nova Scotia Power staff called for assistance when they found smoke grenades near a sub-station in East Tremont.

December 1, a new Wolfville eatery reported a sandwich board parked on Main St. was stolen. After examining videotapes, Acadia University security determined it had been taken into a residence.

A number of deer were killed in collisions on Highway 101 near Greenwich, Kingston, Aylesford and east of Wolfville during the last four days. Cst. Les Kakonyi advised drivers not to swerve to avoid the animals in case they end up in a worse predicament.

Two people, one male and one female, were arrested for assault during nine domestic incidents. Two mental health calls occurred.

There were minor collisions in North Alton, three in New Minas, Welsford and Aylesford.

There were 11 false business alarms, six false residential alarms and 10 false 911 calls.
