Breastfeeding Mothers Meeting.

Arthritis Support Group

Nov. 29 at Thomas Raddall Library, 10:30 – noon. Free of charge. Anyone living with arthritis or is the caregiver for a person with arthritis welcome.

LED Holiday Consumer Light Exchange

Looking for a way to save a little energy and money this holiday? Conserve Nova Scotia and Nova Scotia Power are bringing their LED holiday light exchange program to the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Liverpool on Nov. 28. Residents who bring two strings of old traditional holiday lights will receive one string of LED holiday lights free. The LED Holiday Consumer Light Exchange will begin at 6:15 p.m. and continue until 7:30 p.m., and will be set up in front of the Liverpool Home Hardware store on Main St., adjacent to the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. LED holiday lights quantities are limited, on a first-come, first-served basis. One LED light set per person.

Food Bank Movie, Liverpool

Celebrate the season of giving by helping someone else. Support the Queens County Food Bank by coming to the Annual Food Bank Movie, sponsored by the Region of Queens Municipality on Dec. 6. Movie starts at 2 p.m., the door opens at 1:15 pm. Don't forget to bring a non-perishable food item for admission.

Risk Management for Activities and Facilities Workshop, Liverpool

Free Noon Hour Skating

Come enjoy free noon hour skating every Tuesday and Thursday (12 noon – 1 p.m.) from Dec. 2 to March 31 with the Recreation Department at the Queens Memorial Arena, Old Bridge Street, Liverpool. Ages 17 and up. Free! (No skating Christmas or New Year’s Day).
