Take a scientific look at God

“God: Deity or Delusion? Exploring the Question Through Science, Psychiatry and Theology” is the topic of an upcoming public forum, sponsored by the Wolfville and Area Inter-Church Council.

The forum will be held Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. in the Fountain Learning Commons at Acadia University.

Presenters will be Dr. John Delong, a plant physiologist with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada's Atlantic Food and Horticulture Research Centre; Dr. Maxine Hancock, professor of interdisciplinary studies and spiritual theology, Regent College, Vancouver, B.C.; and Dr. Lara Hazelton, MD, an assistant professor in the department of psychiatry at Dalhousie Medical School.

The moderator will be Dr. Bruce Matthews, a retired professor of religious studies at Acadia University.

The forum will include opportunity for questions and discussion. Everyone is invited to attend.
