Digby’s veterans, their numbers thinned by the years, were applauded by town residents this morning at the 11 a.m. service in front of the town’s cenotaph.
Members of HMCS Cornwallis Sea Cadets stood as honor guard at the war memorial, which features a First World War soldier. Today marked the 90th anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting in that conflict.
