Mariners host Bearcats and Slammers this weekend
Minor Hockey Night and auction planned in conjunction with games
The Yarmouth Mariners will host the Truro Bearcats and the Woodstock Slammers at the Mariners Centre this weekend. Heading into this weekend’s games the Mariners sit atop the Maurice Bent Division with 26 points, and a 13-5 win/loss record.
Truro sits just one point behind the Mariners in the division.
Mariners captain Jordan Scott also sits atop the league’s player stats with 33 points. In 18 games he’s scored 18 goals and had 15 assists.
In addition to hockey, the Yarmouth Mariners have some other activities planned for this weekend when they host the Bearcats and the Slammers.
Friday, Nov. 7, the night the Mariners take on the Bearcats, has been designated Minor Hockey Night. People wearing their minor hockey jersey will get 50 per cent off their ticket price. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
On Saturday , Nov. 8, the Mariners will host the Slammers. As a promotion for ticket purchasers, anyone who buys two adult tickets at regular price will receive two student tickets at half price. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
After the game, an auction is being held where the public will have an opportunity to bid on items.
