A signed Sidney Crosby Team Canada Jersey has landed at South Queens Junior High School, and the school is giving you a chance to own it.
Bruce Inglis donated the jersey, valued at around $1,500 to $2,000. Bidding for the jersey will be ongoing throughout the school year, ending in June 2009. Monthly updates on the bidding will be posted on the school’s website, their monthly newsletter and through The Queens County Advance.

The jersey will go on display at various places in Liverpool throughout the auction process.

The auction proceeds will go towards SQJHS extracurricular activities, which cost the school almost $20,000 a year.

If interested in bidding, contact Leo Campbell at the school at 354-7640 or 354-7641. Bids can also be placed through e-mail at sqjhs@ssrsb.ca. The school’s website is sqjhs.ednet.ns.ca
