Museums enter digital age
The Passage Project is a collections management initiative that operates in Nova Scotia with 55 participating museums and archives. Passage Project members are now submitting records and photographs of artifacts for the “Made in Nova Scotia Project 2008.” The chosen artifacts are made by Nova Scotian manufacturers or artists and have special local interest. These artifacts will be showcased online at Artifacts Canada. The project will raise awareness of Nova Scotian heritage and allow the museums to gain a deeper knowledge of their collections.
