North Hills Museum has Tea at Two
Event set for September 6
The summer is almost over and it’s been a busy one at North Hills Museum in Granville Ferry. Workshops, picnics, birthday parties, and other activities have kept the community buzzing with visitors from near and far and the fun is not over yet.

On Saturday, Sept. 6 from 2 to 4 p.m., the museum will be hosting its annual Tea at Two event which is a finale to the Artifacts and Interiors event held in July. Artists were invited to paint their interpretations of the museum and the works have been on display and for sale throughout the summer. The artists will be attending Tea at Two to enjoy an afternoon of social fun and delicious home baked treats.

“We are always happy that we are able to thank the artists who bring so much life to the museum with our Tea at Two event” says North Hills museum site supervisor, Janice Slauenwhite. “This is also a great opportunity for members of our community to have a relaxing afternoon tea on one of the most beautiful properties in the province.”

The public is invited to attend, enjoy the goodies, chat with the artists, and perhaps purchase one of the lovely works they have created.

Admission to this event is by donation. For further information please call North Hills Museum at 902-532-2168. The Annapolis Heritage Society manages North Hills Museum on behalf of the Nova Scotia Museum. The Society’s mandate is to preserve, promote and present the history of the Annapolis Royal region.
