A government grant made a major makeover possible for the playground at Digby Pre-School Co-op.

Back to School!

For little people at Digby Preschool Co-op, the first day of school was a little bit like Christmas morning. Over the summer, their playground was transformed--thanks to a grant from the Nova Scotia government.

At Digby Elementary School, four year olds were welcomed for the first time. A recent change means that children who will turn five by Dec. 31 now enter Grade Primer.

At Digby Regional High School, members of the student government kept their eyes peeled for Grade 7 students, and presented each of them with a lanyard.
