Between Monday, Aug. 25 and Sunday, Sept. 1, Windsor District RCMP responded to a total of 161 calls for service.

Of these, there were17 false alarms and seven misdialed 911 calls to which RCMP members responded and attended.

Police also investigated four reports of assault, three complaints of uttering threats, five incidents involving disturbing the peace and two reports of harassment.

There were 11 reported theft-related incidents, one reported fraud, three reports of break and enter and a total of seven incidents involving damage to property.

Windsor District RCMP also investigated five traffic collisions, one of which resulted in a fatality. As well, there were 19 reports involving traffic-related complaints and 11 reports of impaired driving.

Looking at the CrimeStoppers report, Windsor District RCMP is investigating the following offences and is looking for assistance from the public to help solve these crimes.

Sometime between Friday, Aug. 29and Saturday, Aug. 30, a person or persons spray-painted graffiti on the Anglican Church and hall situated at 1231 Highway #1 in Lakelands, Hants County.

Also, sometime overnight Friday, Aug. 29 and Saturday, Aug. 30, a person or persons broke some windows at the Tourist Bureau just off of Highway 101, Exit 6, King Street, Windsor.

Anyone with information on these crimes and who would like to remain anonymous can contact CrimeStoppers anytime at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). Calls to CrimeStoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on the tip, callers qualify for a cash award from $50 to $2,000.
