Marijuana plants seized
Marijuana plants with a street value of approximately $150,000 were seized in the Weymouth area on Sunday.
On Aug. 31, members of the Digby RCMP GIS and Street Crimes Enforcement Units received assistance from the Atlantic Region Air Services helicopter to locate three significant marijuana-growing operations in the Weymouth area.
In Weymouth north area 100 plants were seized.
In Weymouth Mills area of Sissiboo Road, 33 plants were seized.
In South Range area 50 plants were seized.
Investigations are ongoing.
