Road closed after rollover

A tractor-trailer rollover kept Highway 1 between Randolph Road and Cambridge Mountain Road closed for about three hours Wednesday evening, Aug. 27. Waterville and District Fire Department spokesperson Kevin Ernest said the department was called to the scene at around 5:30 p.m. and assisted with traffic control, allowing only truck and bus traffic through. Firefighters left the scene at 8:45 p.m. The tractor-trailer had somehow tipped over with the trailer in the ditch and the truck on the highway in front in the Winchester Truck Repair Centre. No injuries were reported.
