Chaylene Sarty crowned Scallop Queen
An 18-year-old with a black belt in karate was crowned Scallop Queen at the 33rd Annual Digby Scallop Days Coronation.
Chaylene Sarty, a recent graduate of Digby Regional High School also played volleyvall and softball as student. In the fall she plans to attend Saint Mary's where she will major in Commerce.

First princess was Courtney Elliott, who will also attend Saint Mary's in September.

Second princess and Miss Congeniality was Katelyn Chute. Katelyn plans to open a dayare, locally, after she graduates from Kingstec College.
