Mother Nature delivers at 2008 Seaside Ramble
It was an eclectic group of people that assembled at Point Prim, August 7, for Digby Scallop Days’
Seaside Ramble.
There were local folks (including princesses and science teachers) as well as tourists. All were keenly interested in learning more about the inter-tidal zone of one of North America’s most diverse shorelines.
The ramble, an annual event, was led by two biology teachers, Churchill Page and Greg Turner.
Page said conditions were just right and participants were quickly finding sea plants and animals.
