Hants Journal not for sale, just the building
The Hants Journal’s home is for sale, but the Journal is definitely not. We’re in Windsor to stay.

The Hants Journal is a Transcontinental Media publication, part of a multinational company.

A ‘for sale’ sign has been posted in front of our Gerrish Street, Windsor, location for the past few days. The structure had been sold to the current owner some time ago. The Hants Journal has been a tenant in the building since, with a lease.

Transcontinental Media’s Nova Scotia weeklies group publisher Fred Fiander said that, “we are tenants in the building.” At the same time, “the newspaper is alive and well, in a thriving community.” And it’s a Transcontinental newspaper.
