April 6 to April 12, 2008 continued Doris Nellie Stewart (Clamp) - 78, passed away peacefully at home in Glendora, California, on April 10, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Kentville, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Emma Clamp. A true matriarch, she leaves to mourn two sons, Gary of Utah, and Darren, as well as one daughter, Diane Jonasson, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren, all of California; two step-grandchildren of Utah; one brother, Albert (Bertha Elizabeth), and one sister, Bertha Irene, both of Nova Scotia. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Gaylene Meredith, one half-sister, Florence Brigley, four half-brothers, William, John, Walter and Eric, as well as nephew, Murray Clamp. Visitation and funeral service took place at the Church of the Good Shephard on April 16, 2008 with Rev. Sarah Rasmussen officiating; interment at Oakdale Cemetery, Glendora, California.
April 6 to April 12, 2008 continued COMEAU, Helen Gertrude, 76, of Culloden, died April 12, 2008, in Tideview Terrace. Funeral April 15 in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Digby.
