‘Loyalist’ campsite
Jayar Milligan of Dartmouth fits poles into a tent at Fishermen’s Memorial Park in Digby this morning, the start of an all-day encampment featuring people dressed in Loyalist-era attire to mark the 225th anniversary of the arrival of Loyalists on the shores of the Annapolis Basin in 1783. Members of Atlantic Living Heritage are hosting the encampment.
