RCMP Wolfville rescue senior home alone
RCMP in Wolfville received a call from the Kings Seniors Safety Coordinator, Michelle Parker, who was concerned over the fact she had been unable to contact one of her clients, a 77-year-old Wolfville resident who lives alone, for over two days.

Parker had visited his home several times, however, there had been no response. Police checked with neighbours, who confirmed he had not been seen for a while. Officers found an open window and used it to gain access inside.

Once inside, officers found the unconscious man on the floor in his bedroom where he had been laying for two days after falling and injuring his back. EHS was called to the scene and transported him to the Valley Regional Hospital for examination, where he is listed in good condition.
