Although they came without their bikes and equipment, the Privateer Days weekend was not a total loss for Street Punishment as they received about $1,000 in donations.
“They’re coming back and they told me they would do a show for Liverpool they’d never done anywhere before in their lives,” said Custom Design Cycles owner, Tony Roy.
Street Punishment performed a small show at Roy’s shop over Privateer Days.
“It was awesome for me and I know it was awesome for lot of kids,” he added.
Roy said he has full support from the community and businesses to have Street Punishment back.
“If everything goes well in dealing with Privateer Days, we’ll be back bigger and better next year,” he stated.
He also thanks Region of Queens Mayor John Leefe for his support, “we’ll definitely be talking in the near future,” said Roy.
Street Punishment lost their motorcycles; merchandise and equipment after someone stole their trailer and truck in Quebec.
A fundraiser will take place at Kokomo’s Restaurant in Dartmouth on July 19.
