There were 130 reports made to RCMP in Kings County between July 1 and July 8.
A noise complaint came in from Linden Ave. in Wolfville at 2 a.m. July 1.
Stainless steel equipment was stolen after a gate was cut open at the canning plant in Hillaton.
Webster Farms in Cambridge reported July 1 that someone aboard an ATV was trespassing and destroying farm produce.
Youth were observed by residents of English Mtn. Rd. riding a golf cart around a subdivision in Coldbrook.
A noisy group of youth was reported at 11:49 p.m. at Kent and Queen St. in Wolfville.
A woodsplitter was stolen from the Bent Rd., Waterville, and graffiti was found July 2 painted on the village office in New Minas.
Some $400 worth of fuel was stolen from a parked excavator at Gaspereau Lake.
Two incidents of mischief were reported at Evangeline Court in Wolfville. Youth were reported throwing rocks at an excavator parked at the sand pit off Cynthia Ave. in Kingston.
A suspended driver was located and warned on Cornwallis Ave. in New Minas. A Melanson resident reported a shed broken into at 4 p.m.
A woman was reported collapsed on Commercial St. in New Minas. Police determined she was not ill, but had been evicted. The woman refused a drive. A case of pet fraud was reported to Phonebusters.
On July 3, a number of ATV drivers were repeatedly bothering Maple Ave. residents in Aylesford.
Acadia University security reported three young males carrying cases at 12:49 a.m. They were found playing trumpets and trombones near University Ave.
At 4:18 a.m. two men, who said they had fallen off a cliff, turned up bleeding at the Big Stop in New Minas. Police determined the pair was using drugs and one was arrested for breaching an undertaking to be home.
A 16-year-old girl was caught shoplifting clothes in New Minas. Someone on Andringa Dr. in Cambridge threw rocks at a vehicle.
A large hole in a parking lot near Shoppers Drug Mart in Wolfville was reported.
A South Berwick resident reported that someone fraudulently tried to pick up a purebred dog at a groomer's shop.
There was a rear-end collision on Commercial St. in New Minas at 2:15 p.m.
A kayaker, who capsized off Kingsport, was rescued and taken to hospital for observation.
Youth on a red ATV were driving on Lockhart Dr. and Jones Rd. in New Minas at 5:25 p.m. A window was shattered by a rock or shot on Maple Ave. in Wolfville.
A drunken man in North Alton, who called 911 twice for emergency services, was taken to hospital for a check-up.
A Wolfville resident complained of noise pollution by a large air exchanger on Chestnut Ave at 6:13 p.m.
A house in White Rock was egged at 11 p.m. and the problem is an ongoing one.
Three women took off into woods without paying cab fare on Sanford Rd. in north Kentville at 2:35 a.m. July 4.
Shortly afterward, a 23-year-old driver was stopped in Canning for speeding. He was given a suspension.
A lawn tractor was stolen overnight from beside a house on Maple St. in Waterville.
A break and enter was reported at a Sunken Lake cottage. Entry was gained through a window and stereo components and beer were stolen.
Police were called at 6:04 p.m. to attend to a drunk male staggering outside an auto parts store on Commercial St., New Minas.
On Central Ave. in Greenwood, a man threatened a female tavern employee at 1:02 a.m. July 5. The subject had fled when police arrived.
Eight unknown males deposited a recently uprooted stop sign in a Canning resident’s backyard at 8:48 a.m.
There was a two-vehicle accident between a car and a motorcycle on Highway 1 at 10:29 a.m. There were no injuries, but one vehicle sustained extensive damage.
Another motor vehicle accident occurred nearly an hour later on Highway 12 in North Alton.
A break-and-enter was reported by a business on Gaspereau Rd. in Avonport at 11:49 a.m. Callers reported nothing stolen.
On North River Rd. in Aylesford, a 12-foot aluminum boat was reported stolen at 12 noon.
A small collie was locked in a car in a Kingston parking lot in the warm afternoon. Police located and warned the owner, who was cooperative.
Mischief was reported at 4:12 p.m. in Kingston when someone broke a window in the capital paper building.
A noise complaint was filed at 7:02 p.m. on Annette St. in Coldbrook. The complainant’s elderly male neighbour had been playing a radio loudly in his cherry tree to scare off blue jays for three consecutive days.
A drunken male was found passed out on Eden Row in Greenwich at 7:17 p.m.
A motor vehicle accident occurred soon after on Greenfield Rd. in Gaspereau when a cornering vehicle forced an oncoming car out of its lane. There were no injuries.
Police deposited a drunk into holding cells shortly after he was reported on Highland Ave. in New Minas at 8:07 p.m.
A 48-year-old male was arrested for impaired driving on Peck Meadow Rd. in Melanson at 9:22 p.m.
Homeowners were asked to turn music down at 9:32 p.m. in New Minas. Another noise complaint in New Minas turned out to be a wedding reception at 12:49 a.m. on the 6th. Officers spoke to both the homeowner and groom.
Partygoers on Marsh Hawk Dr. in Wolfville were disturbing neighbours by yelling, “Two songs!” at 2:20 a.m.
A 51-year-old male was stopped while leaving a liquor establishment at 3:52 a.m. in Coldbrook. He failed a breath test shortly afterwards.
A vehicle left a station on Highway 1 in Greenwood without paying a $72 charge at 11:41 a.m.
More dogs were left in vehicles, this time at Wal-Mart in New Minas. Two women were found and warned at 3:44 p.m.
Five people refused to extinguish a campfire and leave private property at 4:30 p.m. on Black Rock Rd. in Black Rock.
A 46-year-old male was arrested for driving while grossly impaired on Central Ave. in Greenwood a 6:57 p.m.
Property damage and mischief was reported at 9:55 a.m. July 7 when someone keyed a jeep on Birchcrest Dr. in Cambridge.
At 2:19 p.m. in Kingston, a woman mistakenly used someone else’s cart to do her full shopping. When the woman realized the mix-up at the cash, her purse had been stolen out of her abandoned cart.
Theft of pipes, fittings and conduit was reported at 3:32 p.m. from a Cherry Lane construction site in Wolfville.
Police were called at 4:50 p.m. to assist a sailboat drifting out with the tide in Kingsport. The Canning Fire Department was dispatched and returned the boat and passengers safely.
Later that day a puppy was left in a closed car at the Greenwood Sobey’s. The owner was found and warned, although the inside of the car was found to be quite cool due to previous air conditioning.
Another dog was reported to be in distress in another Greenwood parking lot at 7:32 p.m. When police arrived, the vehicle was gone.
A woman was reported to be unresponsive behind the Wolfville library at 7:52 p.m. Police talked to the woman, who was found to be drunk, and took her to the New Minas cells to be held until sober.
A car left the Esso Station on Highway 1 without paying for $50 worth of gas at 7:55 p.m. An hour later, a 31-year-old man was removed from the Valley Regional Hospital and arrested for public intoxication.
There was a hit-and-run at 7:45 a.m. July 8 when one vehicle backed into another on Glendale Dr. in New Minas.
Wire was stolen from a construction site on Glebe Rd. in Greenwood Square at 9:31 a.m. This was the second time in two weeks a robbery had occurred.
There were 17 domestic incidents and 16 mental health calls. There were 23 false business alarms, 10 false residential alarms and 20 false 911 calls.
