Wants answers on Lambert dismissal

I was shocked to learn of the summary dismissal of Middleton's CAO, Jemma Lambert. Town officials should provide Ms. Lambert and the people of Middleton with an explanation as to why this action has been taken. Ms. Lambert has demonstrated strong leadership on difficult issues, most notably the Town's sewage problem.

She has brought a progressive style and youthful energy to a Town that desperately needs revitalization. Ms. Lambert's enthusiasm and dedicated support has been a large factor in the successful launch of the Middleton Farmers Market, inspiration that imbued a sense of hope that Middleton might yet avoid the fate of the Dodo. The commitment and drive she brought to her position will be tough to replace. Let those responsible for hiring, and now firing, the CAO have the courage to explain their cause.
