Between Monday June 23 and Sunday, June 29, Windsor District RCMP was kept very busy answering a total of 177 calls for service.

Of these, there were 12 false alarms reported and responded to along with 19 misdialed 911 calls. Police also investigated six reports of assault, four complaints of uttering threats, 10 reports of causing a disturbance, and one reported case of harassment.

There were 19 theft-related complaints, five reports of break and enter, and 15 incidents involving damage to property.

Windsor District RCMP also investigated 11 traffic collisions, a total of 20 traffic-related complaints, and five incidents related to impaired driving.

If you are missing a set of keys, another set was turned into the Windsor town detachment. They were found Tuesday, June 24 at the corner of Lakeview Drive and Chestnut Avenue in Windsor and have a remote attached to the ring.

Looking at the CrimeStoppers report, Windsor District RCMP is investigating the following offences:

On Wednesday, June 25 between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., a two-tone blue 1990 Chevy pick-up truck was stolen from the car pool lot at exit #4, Highway #101. The vehicle was locked and there was no broken glass at the scene.

Between Sunday, June 29 and Monday, June 30, someone caused damage to property at Falmouth Elementary School. A tree was damaged, papers thrown about the school grounds and a window screen was damaged.

Between Monday, June 30 and Tuesday, July 1, someone smashed the windows on two vehicles parked at Windsor Motors situated at 1781 King St, Windsor. The damage is believed to be in the area of $400-500.

The owner is offering a $1,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for these acts. Windsor Motors over the last couple of years has been the victim of vandals damaging the vehicles and are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the person(s) responsible.
