Wednesday Market in AR
July 2,9,16,23 & 30 Annapolis Royal Farm Market every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in July and August. Enjoy shopping in a relaxed atmosphere.
Jam Session
July 4 Country and Bluegrass Jam Session at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 4 at North Hills Museum. Bring a chair and something to share at the 9 p.m. break. All welcome. Donations appreciated. Info 532-2168.
Seafood Chowder
July 4 Seafood Chowder Supper, Friday, July 4, Hillsburn 4-H Hall, Starting at 4:30 p.m. Menu: Seafood chowder, roll, cracker, tea or coffee, and strawberry shortcake, Price $10 per person. Proceeds for Hall maintenance.
Drumming Workshop
July 4 Community lunch Friday, July 4. We have Kadijah doing a drumming workshop - lots of fun and a great stress reliever. It is at The Women's Place (38 Queen Street, Bridgetown) from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch is provided. There is no charge for this event. Hope to see you there.
House & Garden Tour
July 5 Annapolis Royal House & Garden Tour is scheduled for Saturday, July 5. Showcasing the Historic Gardens and special homes and gardens in and around Annapolis Royal. A fundraiser for the Historic Gardens. Tickets $20 ($15 for Season Passerholders). Call 532-7018.
Paradise Church Supper
July 5 Paradise United Baptist Church Supper Cold plate with strawberry shortcake will be held at Paradise Hall July 5 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Adults $10. Children under 12 $7.
Lobster supper
July 5 Purchase tickets by June 28 for a Lobster Supper at the Lower Granville Hall, #3551 Port Royal. Limited seating, starts at 6pm and cost is $25. Please call 532-0125 or 532-2267.
Breakfast
July 5 Bridgetown Lion’s Hall Breakfast from 8-11 am, (on Church St.). Enjoy a garden omlette, hash browns, sausages, toast & jam. Free will offering.
Flea market
July 5 A flea market will be held at the Middleton Train Station from 8am to 2pm.
Strawberry supper
July 5 Old Fashioned Strawberry Supper at the Tupperville Community Hall, 5-7 p.m. Enjoy baked ham, potato and corn scallops, salads, casseroles, rolls and fresh shortcake with real whipped cream. Adults: $10; Children under 12: $6.
Yard sale

Reunion meeting
July 8 Former and current MRHS students and staff are encouraged to participate in the planning of the 60th Reunion. Meet at the MRHS Library at 7 p.m. if you are interested in helping make this event a great success.

Tennis mixers
July 10 & 24 Town of Middleton is offering adult tennis “Mixer Nights” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. No fee, but registration is required by phoning the Rec. Office at 825-6611. Join us for some recreational tennis and meet other players. Also August 7 & 21.
Musical evening
July 12 Acoustic entertainment by Demi Beaumie at 7:00 pm in the New Beginnings Centre, Greenwood, admission is $5.
Youth Park Clean-up

Tea & auction
July 12 Tea & Chinese Auction at the West Dalhousie Community Hall from 2-4p.m., draw starts at 3pm.Tea: $4-Adult; $2-Children & auction tickets are 10 for $1. Proceeds for the up-keep of the hall.
Legion BBQ
July 12 Everyone is welcome to come to the Clementsport Legion where past Presidents will be serving BBQ chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs and various salads, from 1 to 5 p.m. Price is $5.00 per person. There will be local entertainment provided.
Artifacts and Interiors
July 13 The third annual Artifacts and Interiors event will be held at North Hills Museum on Sunday, July 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Watch local and provincial artists create works that are for sale and display throughout the summer. Admission by donation. Info 532-2168
Vacation Bible school

Western Kings Rink Dance
July 12 The Western Kings Rink Association hosts their annual Summer Dance July 12 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Dance to the music of Spare Parts. Legal age applies. Cost $10 a person.
Children’s Parade
July 19 Rosemary Chapter IODE will again sponsor the Children’s Parade in Middleton on Saturday, July 19. The Parade begins at 10 a.m. Participants are to register at 9:15 a.m. on the north side of Middleton Regional High School. Judging will begin at 9:45 a.m. There will be prizes in the five categories: Comic, History or Theme, Group, TV, and Animals or Sport. Come out and make this a great event for everyone.
Slo-Pitch Tournament
July 19-20 The Heart of the Valley Co-ed Slo-Pitch Tournament will be taking place on July 19 and 20 in Middleton. The fee is $275 per team and a new ball. Vacation Bible School
July 28-Aug. 1 ‘Power Lab' Vacation Bible School takes place at Middleton Baptist Church from July 28 to August 1. 9:30 to 11:45 a.m. each morning with registration opening 9 a.m. July 28.
