Teen dies in ATV accident, brother uninjured
John David Amero, the 15-year old son of Anthony and Lorraine Amero of Weaver Settlement, died as the result of an ATV accident Sunday evening.
The boy was minutes from his home traveling on a logging road when the accident occurred. A cable across the road appeared to be the cause of the accident.
John David Amero’s 12-year-old brother Joel was a passenger on the ATV but was not seriously injured.
Amero had recently completed grade 9 at Saint Mary’s Bay Academy in Weymouth.
