Annapolis Royal showcases unique Homes & Gardens
Tour set for July 5
Head to historic Annapolis Royal as the community once again showcases some of its unique gardens and houses in a House & Garden Tour to be held on Saturday, July 5.

The tour will include private properties where residents have made use of unique designs and materials to create wonderful gardens and landscapes. In addition, several of the featured properties are providing refreshments or inviting guests to tour parts of their unique homes. The Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens will be a centerpiece of the tour, in prime rose season, with the horticulturist on hand to provide guided visits of the Gardens.

The day is designed so that visitors can explore the properties at their own pace between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The Historic Gardens are open longer hours, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., with special Horticulturist’s Guided Tours scheduled for 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. House & Garden Tour tickets are $20 which includes admission to all properties and to the Historic Gardens. (Those who have season passes already may purchase a ticket for a reduced rate of $15). Tickets are available at the Historic Gardens, in advance or on the day of the event.

Experience a full weekend of activities by planning to stay at one of the town's fine accommodations. Visit the Farmers’ Market on Saturday morning, stroll through the waterfront shopping district, hike along the French Basin Trail, and experience the attractions and museums.

"In Annapolis Royal we are proud of our heritage buildings and for the history held within their walls," said Gardens manager Trish Fry. "We are equally proud to share our gardens and homes, and the stories that they tell. We hope that you will join us for this unique event."
