Digby U-16 girls easily handle Annapolis
Digby’s under-16 girls team built up momentum Wednesday in Minor Soccer action, downing Annapolis 5-1 on the Digby Regional High School field.
Annapolis scored first in the 7:15 p.m. game, but the advantage was short-lived as Koral Amero was able to capitalize for Digby.
The score could have been even greater for Digby. Twice during the first half, Digby shots caromed off the Annapolis goal posts.
Playing under sunny skies, Digby pulled ahead and was able to nullify the Annapolis attack.
