Break-in forces increased patrolling:

Windsor RCMP responded to a suspected break-in at the Windsor Visitor Information Centre after receiving an anonymous call during the early evening of June 10.

Cst. Steven MacPhie said it’s difficult to say how anyone got into the building, but the back door was left wide open and members of the police force have since stepped up patrols in the area. “It’s most likely someone entered who shouldn’t have been there.”

No damages were done and nothing was taken from the building, MacPhie added. “However, the matter remains under investigation.”
