States takes third in long jump
Kyle States of Digby Regional High School came third Friday in long jump competition during the first day of the provincial track and field championships in Lower Sackville.
States turned in a jump of 6.23 metres. He was the sole Digby athlete to crack the top three in Friday’s events.
DRHS qualified 14 athletes for the championship, which continues today at Metropolitan Field in Lower Sackville.
