Farmer’s market

June 6 Middleton Farmer's Market from 3-7 pm., (every Friday ).Find farm fresh meats and produce, prepared foods, local crafts, live music and much more. For information contact Amy Skelton at 825-1732.

Coffee Party

June 6 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Kingston Fire Hall. Proceeds to VON.

Hillsburn Brunch

June 7 Last Brunch until October, Saturday, June 7, Hillsburn 4-H Hall, starting at 9 a.m. Price is $5 per person. Menu: Breakfast Surprise, Sausage, Hash Browns,Toast, Tea, Coffee, or Juice.

Used Book Sale

June 7 The Annapolis Valley Regional Library will be holding a Used Book Sale on Saturday, June 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Annapolis Royal Farmers’ Market. Great books, great prices. All proceeds are for the library.

Yard sale

June 7 Giant Annual Yard Sale, indoor-outdoor, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Emmanuel Congregational Church, 37 Gates Ave., Middleton. Treasures galore, including bake, plant and book tables, and a BBQ. Rain or shine.

Musical Service

June 8 Come to the Port George Baptist Church at 7:00 p.m. to enjoy inspirational music performed by Rachel MacLean. Everyone welcome.

Decoration service

June 8 Middleton Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 001 will hold their Annual Decoration of Graves Service at the Old Holy Trinity Church Cemetery in Middleton. The service will fall in at 6:45 p.m., service commences at 7:00 p.m. Public is cordially invited.

Plant & yard sale

June 8 The Hampton Hall is holding a Plant and Yard Sale at the hall from 1-4 pm, rain or shine. Over 400 plants (shrubs, perennials, roses, herbs, etc.), ranging from $1 to $5. Book yard sale table by calling Jo at 665-2424.

Hymn sing

June 8 Featuring guest singers Madeline and Brett Bauchman at the Inglisville United Baptist Church at 7pm. Everyone welcome.

Alzheimer Walk

June 9 Northhills Nursing Home employees, family and friends will hold a "Memory Walk" for the Alzheimer's Society to raise funds and awareness, 7pm in parking lot of the Municipal Building, Annapolis Royal. Join us in offering help and hope.

Cemetery meeting

June 12 Annual meeting of the Stoney Beach Cemetery Company starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Lower Granville Hall, Port Royal. All lot owners and interested persons are encouraged to attend.

Relay for Life

June 13 Relay for Life Middleton is being held this year on June13 at the Middleton Rotary Park. Teams from previous years or new teams looking for information please call Amanda at 765-4029 or check www.cancer.ca. Please watch here for further announcements.

Antiques Roadshow

June 14 Best End of the Valley “Antiques Roadshow” with TV personality Roger Crowther. Bridgetown United Church 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Bring your antiques (1-2) and get an expert opinion for $5. Fantastic desserts, tea/coffee available.

Ticket auction

June 14 Middleton & District Day Care’s annual Ticket Auction at the Middleton Legion from 10 am to 12 pm. 20 tickets for $1, buy 10 envelopes, get the eleventh free. Hot dogs and drinks available.

Variety show

June 14 Enjoy music and skits at Brickton Community Hall at 7:30, free will offering. Music by Ernie Marshall & Friends, Alysha Daniels, and the Kingston United Combo.

Supper

June 15 Holy Trinity Church is holding a Father’s Day Roast Beef Supper at their Church Hall in Middleton from 4:30 to 6:00p.m. Cost is $12, includes dessert and beverage. Take outs available. For deliveries, call 825-4758 before 2pm on the 15th.

Trails Society AGM

June 19 The Annapolis County Trails Society AGM will be held at Lawrencetown municipal building Highway 1 , Lawrencetown on Thursday, June 19 at 7 pm . All members welcome. Directors' meeting to follow.

Summer Recreation

June 19 & 20 Registration for the Town of Middleton’s summer recreation programs will take place at Town Hall, Commercial Street. Thursday from 6-8 pm and Friday 9-4pm. Phone 825-6611 for more information.

Workshop

Annual Meeting

June 21 Public Annual Meeting of Goat Island Church Preservation Society will take place at the Church in Upper Clements at 2 p.m. Share your old letters, newspaper, clippings and artifacts.

Charity Auction

June 21 The Knights of Columbus, Council 6297 Greenwood/Middleton will be holding their annual Charity Auction on June 21 in Queen of Heaven Chapel Annex, Church Street, Greenwood. Combined Chinese Auction and Silent Auction. Bake table, 50-50 draw, and canteen facilities available. Doors open at 10 a.m. and draw starts at 2 p.m. White elephant/flea market tables outside, weather permitting. For more information contact Kent Sill at 765-2734.

Open House

June 21 The Lady's Club at Eden Golf & Country Club are hosting an open house for golfers 19 years of age and up. This free clinic includes a meet and greet at 10:30 a.m. and a clinic with Club Pro Brad Corkum. Open to all members and non. Tee times have been booked, normal green fees apply to non-members.
