'Cats home opener postponed

The senior baseball game between Kentville and Dartmouth scheduled for Wednesday evening at Memorial Park has had to be postponed due to rain and wet field conditions.

Friday's scheduled 8 p.m. match-up with the Sydney Sooners now becomes the Wildcats' home opener, providing the weather permits that game to be played.

Friday's game is the first of three planned for this weekend between the Wildcats and Sydney, with two games scheduled for Saturday, the first game set for noon and the second immediately following the first.

If Friday's game isn't able to go ahead as scheduled, the plan is to play twice on Saturday and once Sunday, as this is Sydney's only visit to Kentville this season.
