There is always a jolt that runs through my brain when I see the average Canadian price for fuel...in contrast to the price we pay in Digby county. You'd think we were some kind of huge urban center with high paying jobs. It amazes me that the communities that seem to be having the hardest economic times are the ones that have to shell out the most for gas! But don't get me started on this. My folks live in Ontario and they always pay 20 cents less at the pumps and the milk that I pass over $7.11 for...they pay $5.40. Makes you scratch your head and roll your eyes.
