Digby girls ride strong play into softball tournament
The girls’ softball team from Digby Regional High School heads out today at 2:30 p.m. for St. Croix, their season’s major tournament.
It’s a two-day affair, but the team returns tonight and drives back again to St. Croix in the morning.
The Digby girls played Tuesday at home, easily overpowering Annapolis West Education Centre 13-0 in the slow pitch game. Rain washed out a scheduled game Thursday in Bridgetown.
