Annapolis RCMP busy with variety of calls

The Annapolis detachment of the RCMP responded to 80 calls for assistance during the week of April 14 through April 21.
Among these were two motor vehicle accidents, four domestic matters, one false alarm and six false 911.
Following are highlights of these calls:

-- April 14 at 12:21 p.m. Police were called to Clementsport following a complaint of a disturbance.
-- April 14 at 2 p.m. Police were called to Paradise Lake to investigate a report of mischief, after a cottage was broken into.
-- April 14 at 2:57 p.m. Police were called to West Dalhousie after a cottage was broken into.
-- April 14 at 3:58 p.m. Police received a report of a missing person from Hillsburn. The individual returned home and the police were called off.
-- April 15 at 9 a.m. A Bridgetown resident reported a complaint of theft under $5,000, after a quantity of cash was stolen from a purse.
-- April 15 at 11:07 a.m. A Middleton business reported that gasoline had been stolen from a truck.
-- April 15 at 12:30 p.m. Police received a report of fraud from Bridgetown.
-- April 15 at 6:15 p.m. A Port Lorne resident reported damage to mailboxes.
-- April 15 at 7:23 p.m. A Wilmot resident reported receiving harassing phone calls.
-- April 15 at 7:30 p.m. Police were called to Springfield after a caller reported being threatened. A male and female were arrested and taken into custody.
-- April 16 at 8:44 a.m. A New Albany resident reported a complaint of mail fraud.
-- April 16 at 11:37 a.m. A Torbrook resident reported a license plate stolen.
-- April 16 at 11:41 a.m. A Bridgetown gas station reported a gas and go.
-- April 16 at 2:33 p.m. A Middleton resident reported damage to a vehicle.
-- April 16 at 4:04 p.m. A caller reported that males were on the roof of a Middleton building drinking and causing a disturbance.
-- April 16 at 7:55 p.m. A Waldec resident reported a hit and run after a vehicle had been damaged.
-- April 16 at 10:11 p.m. Police were called to Clementsport following a report of an assault.
-- April 16 at 10:52 p.m. Police were called to Middleton to assist with a fire.
-- April 17 at 11:09 a.m. Police were called to Clarence following a report of damage to a vehicle.
-- April 17 at 12:41 p.m. Police were called to a break and enter in Torbrook. The incident took place between parties that are known to each other.
-- April 17 at 12:57 p.m. Police were called to Brickton following a motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.
-- April 17 at 2:14 p.m. A Wilmot resident reported a theft of gas from a shop.
-- April 17 at 3:09 p.m. Police were called to Bridgetown after someone discharged fireworks and started a grass fire.
-- April 18 at 00:30 p.m. Police received a report of an assault in Wilmot.
-- April 18 at 2:54 a.m. Police received a report of an assault in Lawrencetwon.
-- April 19 at 12:00 a.m. A caller reported being lost in Princedale. A patrol was sent and a dog was brought in to aid in the search. The caller was later located a residence, alcohol is related.
-- April 19 at 00:48 a.m. A caller reported a disturbance in Middleton.
-- April 19 at 3:39 p.m. A Caller reported a break and enter into a West Dalhousie cottage.
-- April 3:55 p.m. A youth was reported missing at Micky Hill Park. A patrol was made and the 12-year-old was located.
-- April 19 at 4:22 p.m. A caller reported a hit and run in Middleton after a driver hit a house. No injuries were reported, but one impaired female driver was held in custody.
-- April 19 at 5:45 p.m. A caller reported that a driver was speeding and squealing tires in Brickton.
-- April 19 at 9:27 p.m. A caller reported a complaint of criminal harassment in Nictaux. One male was arrested.
-- April 19 at 10 p.m. Police were called to a disturbance in Inglisville after gunshots were heard. A patrol was made and officers found a party in progress. The individuals had no knowledge of gunshots.
-- April 19 at 11:58 p.m. Police were called to Lawrencetown to a loud party.
-- April 20 at 9:47 a.m. A caller reported a four-wheeler stolen in Springfield.
-- April 20 at 3:40 p.m. Police received a report that a naked and intoxicated man was walking down the highway in Round Hill.
-- April 20 at 6:34 p.m. A caller reported a dangerous driver in Bear River.
-- April 20 at 7:34 p.m. A caller reported that a motor cycle had been stolen in Wilmot.
-- April 21 at 8:32 a.m. A Caller reported that a youth was firing a pellet gun in Brickton.
