Between Monday, April 7 and Sunday, April 13, Windsor District RCMP responded to a total of 101 calls for service.

Of these, seven were false alarms and there were only three misdialed 911 calls. Nice to see these numbers down from previous reports.

Police are currently investigating five reports of assault, six complaints of uttering threats as well as six reports of disturbing the peace and one reported complaint of harassment.

During this reporting period, Windsor District RCMP received 10 complaints of theft, one reported fraud, five occurrences involving break and enter, and four reports of damage to property.

There were five reports of traffic collisions, eight traffic-related complaints and five reported impaired driving offences.

Windsor District RCMP was saddened to hear the news of the passing of Mr. Guy Lalonde last week. Guy was involved in the Citizens’ on Patrol Program in Hants County for a number of years.

He was truly a great friend to the RCMP family and was a great supporter of his community. He will be missed, but not forgotten. Members of Windsor District RCMP extend their deepest sympathies to the Lalonde family.
