Three town offices broken into
Thieves looking for cash broken into three downtown offices over the weekend.

Digby RCMP said the break-ins occurred last weekend, likely overnight, in the Water Street law office of James Outhouse, and the Prince William Street offices of Fast Tax and the Digby County Family Resource Centre.

A quantity of cash and some computer equipment was taken, but damage to the offices was not extensive.

The RCMP’s forensics identification section from Yarmouth is assisting local RCMP in their investigation. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the detachment at 245-2579 or Crimestoppers.
