Schedule change for ER
Digby General Hospital emergency department schedule has changed due to physician coverage. The emergency department will now close Thursday, April 17, at 8 a.m. and reopen on Friday, April 18, at 8 a.m.
The public is reminded to call 911 in the case of an emergency. During a health crisis, EHS paramedics can administer life saving interventions during transport and they know the status of emergency department closures so that patients are diverted to the appropriate emergency department.
