Between Sunday, March 16 and Monday, March 24, Windsor District RCMP responded to a total of 125 calls for service. Of these, members responded to 18 false alarm reports along with 12 misdialed 911 calls.
Police are investigating four reports of assault, two complaints of uttering threats, one reported incident of disturbing the peace, and three complaints of harassment.
There were also 10 theft-related incidents reported, one report of fraud, two complaints of break and enter, and five reports of damage to property.
In relation to traffic, there were four reports of collisions, nine traffic-related complaints and one report of an impaired driver.
Turning to the CrimeStoppers report, Windsor Rural RCMP is investigating damage done to the fence at Bell Park on Highway 1 in Mount Uniacke, which occurred sometime between March 20 and March 21.
Sometime Wednesday, March 12, around 10:30 p.m., someone broke into a new construction home on McKay Road in the Brooklyn area and stole some power tools and an ATV.
On Thursday March 6, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12 p.m., a blue Chev Cavalier was struck in the parking lot of the Real Atlantic Superstore in Windsor. The Cavalier suffered a moderate amount of damage to its truck area.
The driver of the offending vehicle left the scene without providing any information regarding the collision. Windsor District RCMP are requesting the public's assistance in identifying the suspect vehicle.
Windsor District RCMP continues to investigate the theft of tools from Pioneer Drive, Vaughan that occurred sometime between July 7, 2007 and July 8, 2007. Several construction tools valued at approximately $2,500 were taken from an unlocked garage.
