Ex-husband ‘did the right thing’
Police have yet to release the name of the Clare woman who allegedly was conspiring to have someone kill her ex-husband.

RCMP spokesman Sgt. Mark Gallagher of Halifax said it was not possible Friday to find a judge before whom they could bring the woman.

Gallagher said he advised the intended victim of his danger.

“He did the right thing and got out of there.”

The woman is to be charged with consulting to commit murder. She was being held at the Meteghan RCMP detachment for further investigation.
