Conspiracy to commit murder
Meteghan RCMP have arrested a 38-year-old Clare woman who is alleged to have conspired to have a second party commit murder. The intended victim was the woman’s ex-husband.
The investigation was concluded last night when the woman was arrested near Digby.
She will be formally charged today for consulting to commit murder. Her name has not been released.
The suspect is presently being held at the Meteghan RCMP detachment for further investigation. The place and time of her first court appearance will be released later today.
The matter remains under investigation.
