Structure fire

On March 24, at approximately 1:45 p.m., there was a structure fire on property belonging to Peter Huntley of Scott’s Bay. Fire departments from Kentville, Port Williams, and Hall’s Harbour responded in mutual aid to the Canning and Scott’s Bay departments. The building was fully involved by the time outside departments arrived, but the blaze was extinguished quickly.
