WOLFE, Florence Marie - 87, of Milton, Queens County, passed away peacefully after a short illness in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater with her family at her side, Saturday, March 8th, 2008. Born in Liverpool, she was the daughter of the late William and Meadie (Shupley) Roy. Only working for a short period of time, Marie was a stay at home wife and mother who enjoyed each and every day looking after her children and grandchildren. Every minute of the day proved special to Marie when family and friends were around, especially at Christmas. Marie is survived by her daughters Marjorie Zwicker of Milton, Gloria (Gilbert) Frank of Bridgewater; sons: Richard (Lynn) of Greenfield, Raymond (Evelene) of Milton, John (Jo-ann) of Milton and Ernie Whynot (Dianne Clattenburg) of Milton; sister Anna Whynot of Liverpool; step-sister Shirley Thornborough of Ontario; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Stanford “Pat;” son Lawrence “Larry;” grandson Jeffrey Zwicker; sisters: Elizabeth, Fairy, Nancy, Sylvia, Emmaline, Dorothy, Pearlie, Dolly, Susan, Hazel, and Ruth; brothers: William, Stanley “Hank,” John, Gordon and Ross; step-mother Ubie (Hirtle) Wentzell. A graveside funeral service was held Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in Milton Community Cemetery. Rev. David Hatt officiated. Donations may be made to any charity. Eric S. Temple - 80, Kingston, Kings Co., formerly of Aylesford, Kings Co. passed away Friday March 7, 2008, in the Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, Middleton. There was no visitation. Masonic service and Funeral service took place 2 p.m. Wednesday March 12, in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900). Pastor Kay Dean officiated, with burial in the Aylesford Union Cemetery. NEILY, Randy Ernest, 51, of New Harbour/Blandford. It is with great sadness we announce that Randy passed away at home Saturday, March 8, 2008. Born in Berwick, he was the son of Colin S. Neily (Eileen) Powell River, B.C. and the late Beulah (Zinck) Neily. Survived by his brother Richard (Catherine) Neily, Falmouth N.S. and their children Joel (Irene Ferrara) Neily, Windsor N.S.; Lacey Neily, Calgary Alberta; brother Ryan (Catherine) Neily, Halifax; sister Lorelei Becker (Garnet), Powell River B.C., and her children Richard, Leah, Corry and Lisa Becker; special family friends Philip and Dawn Publicover, Blandford; Patrick Trider, Hantsport; and his widely extended EMC and Fire Service families. Cremation has taken place and a Remembrance of Randy's Life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Blandford and Area Fire Rescue. Nickerson, Mervin St. Clair, Feb. 28, 1927 – March 4, 2008 - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful husband and father. Mervin St. Clair Nickerson, 81, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary after a two month illness. Born in Woods Harbour, he was the son of the late Jeremiah and Ella (Smith) Nickerson. He worked at his grandfather’s boat shop most of his young life. He started working for CN Marine in 1968, where he was employed until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of the Woods Harbour Wesleyan Church, Treasurer of the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, and was an active member of the Barrington & Area Ground Search and Rescue up until his hospitalization in December. Besides his wife of 49 years, Crystal (Crowell), he is survived by four daughters, seven grand-children, one great grandchild and six step-grandchildren, Wilma Crowell (Clayton, Krista, Corey, Dustin, Angelina), Donna Malone (Scott Mahaney, Jerica, Asia, Dallas), Nancy Crowell (Shannon Newell, Paula, Robyn, Adrien) and Sheree d’Entremont (Dennis, Alexa, Karmen, Kirkland and Katia); two sisters, Ivy Swaine, Shag Harbour, Norma Dugas, Yarmouth; one sister-in-law, Mabel Nickerson, Shag Harbour and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his twin brother, Irwin, brother Glendon and a sister, in infancy. Funeral service was held at Woods Harbour Wesleyan Church on Sunday, March 9, 2008, Pastor Steve Bean officiated. Burial was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Upper Woods Harbour. Memorial donations may be made to Mount Pleasant Cemetery or the Barrington and Area Ground Search & Rescue.
