Farnsworth to represent NSCC Burridge at Th’YARC for College Idol on March 28
This Friday, March 28 the Nova Scotia Community College will crown its very own College Idol at Th’YARC.
Students took part in local singing competitions across the province over four months with the hopes of representing their campus in the competition.

Amanda Farnsworth from Digby won the privilege for the NSCC Burridge Campus where she is studying Human Services.

Belonging to a “very musical family”, Farnsworth says she has sung in variety shows, weddings, and benefits.

The top three finishers as chosen by judges Jen and John MacIntosh, as well as talent agent Gloria Williams from Atlantic Talent Agency, will receive cash, gift prizes and trophies.

The event starts at 7 p.m. Advance tickets are available at the NSCC Bookstore for $5 or may be purchased at the door $7.
