RCMP charge man with attempted robbery; say he jumped over store’s pharmacy counter
Police have charged a man they say jumped over the Yarmouth Superstore’s pharmacy counter on Friday, March 7, looking for drugs and threatening employees with violence.

A charge of attempted robbery has been laid against 24-year-old Stephen Wallace Radford of New Brunswick under section 344(b) of the Criminal Code.

He was arrested at the scene by Yarmouth Town RCMP.

Radford has been remanded into custody and was scheduled to appear in provincial court in Yarmouth on Monday, after this edition of The Vanguard went to press. (Check our daily edition: NovaNewsNow.com, for any updates.)
