Between Monday, Feb. 25 and Sunday, March 2 Windsor District RCMP responded to a total of 93 calls for service.

Fifteen were false alarms and there were nine misdialed 911 calls. Police are again reminding anyone with alarm systems to make sure they’re working properly and set accordingly.

Windsor District RCMP are investigating two reports of assault, three complaints of harassment, two incidents involving theft and five reports of damage to property.

During this reporting period, there were a total of 12 reported traffic collisions investigated, eight traffic-related complaints and two reports of impaired driving.

Turning to the CrimeStoppers report, Windsor District RCMP is investigating the theft of a 2007 red Dodge Caliber from the Used Car section at Pothier Motors in Falmouth. This theft is believed to have occurred sometime between Jan. 18 and Feb. 5. The car did not have any license plates on it and it was locked. No keys are missing.

Sometime between Feb. 9 and Feb. 10, someone stole a wooden garbage container from a property on Ashdale Road, Hants County. The container was approximately three-feet-by-two feet, honey colour stain and there were four nail-holes on the top. The value of this container is $184.

On Feb. 6, between the hours of 6 and 11:30 p.m., a car that was parked across from the Windsor Courthouse on King Street had its back passenger tire slashed. The car is a red 1998 Plymouth Sunfire.
