Squad went to play downs undefeated
West Hants Midget “A” Warriors have clinched a trip to Provincials in Clare March 28-30. The Warriors met the Acadia Axemen in round one, shutting out the Axemen 2-0 with goals from Tyler Brownless and Adrian

Jackson-Lane. Tanner Rooney had two to take the series with commanding 5-1 win in Kentville.

In game one against the Middleton Mustangs, the Warriors led going into the third period on a goal by Adrian Jackson-Lane. Ben Ross and Jackson-Lane potted two each in the third to take the game 5-0.

Game two took place in Middleton against a fired up Mustang squad. The Mustangs got on the board first with a goal late in the second period. Tanner Rooney

scored mid way through the third to tie it up at one a piece. Jackson-Lane scored the winner on a break away with 37 seconds left in the game to end the series in dramatic fashion.

The Warriors moved on to meet the Dartmouth

Whalers – who were first place in the central Minor League -- for round three. Evan Bulger potted one and Adrian Jackson Lane scored his second hat trick of the play downs to give the Warriors a 4-2 win on the road. Ben Ross got the Warriors on the board early in the second period of game two to take a 1-0 lead.

Tanner Rooney and Adrian Jackson Lane added insurance markers in the last minute of the third period to win 3-0 and take the series at home, in two straight. Warrior’s goalie Joe Hines posted a 0.66 GAA in the play-downs.
