Golden girls
On the weekend of Feb. 9-10, this team of girls from the Wolfville Skating Club traveled to PEI to represent their club at the Friendship Synchronized Skating Competition in O'Leary and won gold. The team is the "Atlantice" Juvenile Synchronized Skating Team and its members are: back row, (left to right), Gillianne Gates, Gabrielle Lazaric, Jesse MacIsaac, Jennifer Poirier, Lillian Pothier, Brett VanBlarcom, Haley Woodworth, Meredith Moore; front row: Julia Crews, Olivia Harris, Nissa Hirtle, Sophie Lapointe and Maddy Macdonald. Mary Hanneman coaches the team.
