Numerous Liverpool thefts may be related
Queens RCMP have already recovered two vehicles stolen overnight (Feb. 20) in Queens County.
Staff Sgt. Bruno Deveau said, however, a rash of other recent thefts might be related.
One vehicle was taken from Old Port Mouton Road while the other was taken from Harley Umphrey Drive in Liverpool.
In addition, between the evening of Feb. 18 and early morning Feb. 19, Liverpool RCMP responded to three thefts from vehicles and a break and enter theft from a business.
Culprits stole a CB radio from a school bus parked at South Queens Junior High School and in two other incidents stole car stereos from unlocked vehicles in the Liverpool area.
Also, a recycle business was broken into. Thirty radiators, three catalytic converters and copper wire were taken.
